Marantz Imperial 2 Speakers

Hey everyone I am Jake from central California. I rescued these old Marantz speakers a while back and I would really like to refurbish them and use them but finding parts, manuals or any information at all really has been near impossible. I was hoping maybe someone here could enlighten me or give me some leads. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Other than what looks like a missing dust cap on that woofer and roken grill, what's wrong with them? The 1's were the same, just a lot grill Instead of lattice. Partsexpress sells grill kits and cloth. I made a set for my Imperial 6's.

Hey thanks for the response. I saved these from a one way trip to the dump and they were as is. Apparently my friends grandfather bought these new in like 1969, anyway one of the woofers coil seems to be frozen and I think a couple of the tweeters are too. I haven't hooked them to my receiver yet I was afraid of messing them up even more. I talked to Simplyspeakers and a couple of other popular sources and they said that the foam is fabric or something and they couldnt get them.
 
Thats too bad. One of them had any suggestions to use another type of surround that may work?
 
What would cause the cone to be stuck? Is the coil seized somehow or is it a magnet issue? And in the center where the dust cap is supposed to be there is actually something there but its see through, like a fine mesh or something.

The mesh might be as they were intended. Had a pair of similar era GE speakers like that.

Frozen woofer, likely somebody fried the coil. These didn't take much power most likely, and someone may have overdriven it.

I agree. The voice coil is more than likely fried. Speakers with Alinco magnets tend to be more sensitive, but handle less power.
 
If your lucky maybe something got in the VC gap because there is no cap and you could vacuum it out. worth a try at this point.
