Marantz Imperial Speaker info needed

Anybody know or have info on these Marantz Imperial speakers? Since there is no number designation, would it be correct if these might have been before the Imperial 9 speakers? Or something completely different? Pics are of the front and backs. Grill cloth are not the foam, but a tweed looking material, light mixture brown and black material.
