I woke up this morning to my Marantz Model 140 screaming from my Klipsch SP1 floor standing speakers. I can’t even describe how loud this was. In a panic, I ran to turn the gain knobs down, but this didn't change anything, which led me to believe that the problem was after this stage. Both peak lights were illuminating, and both VU meters were pretty high up. Does anyone know what the problem could be? I rebuilt this unit back in 2015, and it still has the stock capacitor as well. I've never had to change a MOSFET, only some capacitors on the switching relay circuit.
