The Marantz is now freshened up and I'm using a Carver TFM-15CB for power. The Manhattans sure sound smooth with this setup. Do you prefer the sound of your tube HKs, or is it just a nice alternative to the solid state amps? I find the difference with the tube sound to be subtle, but I like it.

Hey Bill, I found the Frazier's all over the country and have transport companies that haul cars for me pick them up. Started when I bought a pair of Concerto's in 1981 and when I built a new theatre room I needed speakers and found Frazier's and some Norman Labs by accident. Like you I don't notice a huge difference in sound of tubes vs SS but they seem to use less power with tubes. The price I have paid for Frazier's are just a steal compared to vintage Klipsch, AR or other brands they are .10 cents on the $. I like refinishing them and replacing caps and pots as needed to make them like new. Cheers! Have a great day. Rick
