Marantz Model 9 Decent price? 2025?

Hi all,

I was wondering what you would consider a decent price on a set of model 9s. The most recent sales on eBay are all from a few years ago. I have the opportunity to buy a rebuilt to spec pair (rebuilt 3 years ago) for 12.5k. Is this too high? I feel like in the world of tube amps prices have remained stagnant the last few years?

There is one on local fbmp for 5250 probably needs some work so that 12.5 doesn’t seem out of line.
 
I would think 10-13k would be reasonable. Based on past years sales. But the economy has slowed down on luxury goods.
 
Prices on these have dropped a lot and I wouldn’t pay 12.5k for a pair. Rebuilt is also a crapshoot since a lot of restorations are terrible.
