Hey folks, I’m getting into receiver repair (only done recapping and basic adjustments on turntables before) and have a really barebones tinkering setup (I solder on the floor in an oven tray, don’t worry I have a standing fan).
Exposition aside I got a nice looking Marantz MR235 for 50 bucks to practice on and somehow managed to shear the pushbutton rod on the speaker select right off…
The part no from the manual is SP04020200 and it looks like a normal 12 pin 4DPT latching pushbutton so I’m probably gonna get one for cheap online and glue the external button cover on for aesthetics but if that doesn’t work does anyone have any good replacement part recs? I’m assuming the original is long out of production by now.
Anyhow if anyone had this oddly specific problem before let me know. Cheers!
