Marantz PH-1 / PH-22 Phono Stage EQ settings/clarification

I have finally created my MARANTZ PHONO FINAL BOSS.

With the addition of a Marantz MC Phono Equalizer PH-1 (wow, such a perfect addition), i can say this setup is as good as it gets, for my vinyl use.

My question is more to make sure Im grok'ing this right as the step up/freq matching has seemed a little voodoo to me. So when using a Phono Pre that is equalizing the signal, I understand you want to send the output of the phono EQ to something like the AUX, NOT the PHONO input as it it treating the signal as a MM cart.

QUESTION:
With the PH-1, the EQ setting 4 allows for no Turnover and no Roll Off and the MC LOMC. If using that setting and since impedance is being handled by selecting the input sensitivity for your cart, shouldn't i be able to send this output to the PHONO input on the 7c Preamp and take advantage of its phono stage?
