To all Marantz fans out there:
I just bought a Marantz PM-94, black faceplate, lackered oak sides.
It was a nice score as it is in near mint condition.
The top cover is made of aluminum and has four meshed vents. It came with the original box which says "aluminum" on one of the sides. Is that enough to presume it is a PM-94 limited? TVK says limiteds are gold color, but it doesn't say what should be gold as mine has gold lettering over black. :scratch2: I also have a PM-84D which has a gold faceplate and rosewood side panels. Were there ever a PM-94D? I've seen some with the word "DIGITAL" after the model number, what does that mean? Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
