Marantz PM100 meter display

Marantz pm100 amp has a meter display. You can toggle between it measuring up to 120w vs 1.2 watts. In this picture I have it at the 1.2w display setting, which uses the numbers in the middle. According to this I am only using .15w per speaker? My speakers are rated for 35w continuous power at 6 ohms. The amp can do do 100w max per channel at 8. The thing is my speakers are getting more than loud enough. Is my display broken? Am I misreading this? Am I going to blow up my equipment?

If you have a DMM (voltmeter), you can read the AC voltage across each speaker terminal as you feed a constant frequency sine wave into the Aux input port of the amplifier. If your speakers are 6 ohms, you would calculate power, P = V^2 / R or P = V^2 / 6 ohms. Unless you have a good DMM, you will need to keep the frequency less than 1kHz. I also don't know if those meters are reading peak or average power.
