Marantz Relay Questions

Hey all,

silly question.... how do you get the relay covers off, and do you pull the relay first. Also, is this the correct relay for a Marantz 1070 ...

Assuming it's a usual Omron 24VDC relay, check the solder terminals. If they are straight pins, I'm pretty sure it is the MY2-02-DC24 you mentioned. If they are solder lugs with holes in them, I believe it is MY2-DC24. Check those on Mouser and that seems to be the info on the data sheet. My 2245 used the MY2-DC24 (lugs) and the 2275 used MY2-02-DC24 (pins).

usually the clear plastic cover just pops off, there should be a little notch at the base of the cover on 2 sides. use a small flat head in the notches to work it loose and get it off, then it will snap back on when your done cleaning it
