Marantz Restoration

Tightrope

TIGHTROPE
I need some advice please. I have had a Marantz 2500 scope and a 2330b at IRebuildmarantz for over 2 & 1/2 years. They have not started on them and I did receive a refund and my receivers are on their way back to me. Can someone suggest where I could get these fully restored. I just want to get the 2500 scope done first. Any info would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks Gentlemen.

WOW! Over 2 1/2 years holding your property without looking at it? Get the tracking number and keep an eye on it until they arrive. Send them to BK and get them done right.
Good luck.

As soon as I have my receivers returned, I will be in contact. HOPEFULLY I will get them both back. Thanks to both bktheking & jblmar !!

Did you get your equipment back? And your refund? The company was sold and it may be useful to hear how they are treating customers now.

I emailed the new owner and he is desperately trying to ether repair or return the huge backlog of equipment he inherited. It sounds like he is trying to get everything cleared out and start fresh. Only time will tell if he can make a go of it.

He inherited a bad situation.
Will he be doing the repairs/returns or farming them out?

Wow, you're not kidding, backlog isn't the word for it.

Bowdish made it seem like he was wacking out 10 units a week. According to the website the good news is that they got a new tech- He has been doing electronic repair and restoration for over 40 years. So the new tech is a year away from retiring or a part time hobbyist? Crazytrain.

He's farming some out. I've spoken with Randy and he's doing this the right way. He seems to really be working hard to make the "wrongs" of his predecessor right.

as for a tech...PM sent.

I am glad to hear that IRM is back in business. For a time there was quite a crisis going on.
Be sure to post some pictures of your excellent receivers.
