Well I wanted to refresh my tuner dial string because it was looking frayed and old. I also wanted to do it from scratch like I had nothing, I had a 2220B and all was missing. For around 5 bucks and a trip to Walmart I was all set to start.
Here is what I picked up:

Here are the parts I needed:

Cut the long piece:

Bend the end in the hook shape:

Bend out this piece and cut:

Here are your 2 parts you need:

Tie on the string:

Here is what it looks like:

Use heatshrink and hit it with a blow dryer so you do not ruin anything:

Now the real fun starts, string it up!
