Marantz RS-2252...Why doesn't it exist online

In a nearby second hand shop, there is a Marantz model no. rs2252 for sale $250...I've looked in the deepest crevices of the internet only to find nothing on this "rs" series of marantz receivers. Below is a picture. Does anyone know when this came out? Is it a good receiver? I imagine if it was, I would be able to find something about it.

I've seen some questionable Marantz speakers in thrift stores that look like they were made in the mid 90s - about the same time that receiver was made. I believe that during one of Marantz's many reorganizations/mergers/buy-outs, the name was licenced to a Korean OEM who sold Marantz badged products locally in Korea. Well, they made it to the US via returning servicemen or gray market importers. While it may have been a legal licencing deal - at least in the country where it was originally sold - there is unlikely any Marantz engineering involved with this receiver. I'd stay away.
