Marantz Servo Control DD Turntable 6350

132.jpg 133.jpg The turntable has been working beautifully for years but I realized both the power button and the auto/manual buttons had been depressed for quite awhile. It suddenly occurred to me that I should turn the unit itself off, not just rely on the receiver to do the job. I pressed the power button but it's stuck. Then for some reason I decided to press the auto/manual button and now it's stuck in manual and while the unit has power (when I drop the needle I can hear it make contact with the record) the platter is not spinning. I've never opened any audio equipment or tried to do any home repairs but I feel like this is something simple. I'm hoping someone can advise me and I can back to my vinyl! Appreciate any advice..thanks!

There are a lot of great old threads on here about opening up and repairing issues with this series of Marantz. Most are probably for the 6300.
Look around and study a few.
Before you flip it over and look inside make sure you remove the platter and the headshell/cart, and lock the tone arm.
