Marantz SR 5100 opinions?

So I recently picked up a Marantz SR 5100 receiver from eBay. It's 50 watts per channel (into 8 ohms) and from what I understand, that model was made from 1980 to 1982, so it's certainly from the famous "classic" Marantz 22xx line. I can't really find much on the Internet about it, though, so that's why I figured I'd ask for opinions if anybody has any experience with this receiver.

So far, I'm pretty impressed with it. I've owned both a Technics SA-400 and a Technics SA-5470 in the past and this receiver outshines those two models by far in overall warmth and detail. It also sounds much better than my 1977 JVC JR-S81W.

I got one at the Badwill, for $25, a couple weeks ago and haven't had time to clean it up yet. Just as curious as you. Everything I've found claims this unit was on the downward side of good Marantz, but not totally busted. At any rate, it looks kind of cool and I can always set up a barn system for the boys with some old white vans, so they can make noise.
