I recently bought a new Marantz TT15s1 from Australia 220V50Hz and brought it here to Saudi which is 220V60Hz.
Now it runs 20% too fast. Bob Marley as the Chipmunks...you get my drift...
The only (practical) solutions I can see are:
1. Frequency Converter costs: USD$798 plus shipping...total around USD$1K
2. Replace motor with US Model to secure 110V60Hz motor and put it through my Transformer that I use for all my USA gear here. Maybe cheaper than 1K tho'...
Unless of course they make a 220V60Hz model for somewhere in the world...like here. I've written to my dealer and ClearAudio direct.
Any other ideas please?
