Sure is some nice gear, I'd like to have the 10B, please. That pre is a 7C, don't know why he calls is a Model 8. Seems like the price is a little bit high, but if I hit the lottery, I'd be grabbing that gear. Only way to do better than this set is to add Model 9s.

Bascom H. King of Audio Magazine had a pair of modded 9's in the 70s and 80s which were his reference amps.

Of course, nowadays with the money they bring, it would be foolish to touch them.

And certainly, you can't beat them for looks. They are timeless in this regard.

Very sweet, these are pretty hard to find and are some of the most beautiful gear ever.

Actually not that bad a price believe it or not, sometimes the 10B will go for that alone, and then add in 2500 for a 7C and I would imagine at least another 2 to 3,000 for the power amp.

This may be a good deal for someone local. No hassles or risks related to shipping. Plus the possibility of haggling the price with seller, cash in hand. :D

The power amp is a Model 8, BTW. Slightly less power than the 8B. It also lacks the extra dedicated tertiary winding for feedback.
