Marantz vs Sansui

Ok....i have a Sansui AU/TU 717 set-up.......and i have a chance to get a Marantz 2325,i would like opinions on how close or far away the comparisons would be......taking out the wattage,of course as the Marantz is much more powerful but i dont play my music(jazz-fusion,classic rock) at ear bleeding levels.Remember,i just want opinions on what "you" think.

Had both sets. Sansui for performance, Marantz for vintage look. If the 2325 is well below ebay, buy and try for free.
 
Wow...dodged a bullet.Was bidding on the mint restored with papers and pics and was bidding more than i felt good about...my last bid was 1,000.00 early this morning and was high bidder up until 3 minutes to go.....it went for 1170.00 PLUS 105.00 s/h...whew!!!!!!!!!!
I got my little old Sansui for 375.00.........i win.
 
Sansui.

AU-717 - 'war horse' sounding amp, deep, like live music on stage. Loved mine until it crashed.
TU-717 - audiophile tuner, fantastic sound. Still have it! Perfect.

I have an AU 717/TU517 combo and a Marantz model 19. I like them both. It will be a personal taste thing for sure. For me the Marantz gets more playing time. I do love the warm Marantz sound
