Marcia Wallace has died

[Eric H]

Age 70, She was Newharts Secretary on The Bob Newhart Show and a voice actor (Mrs. Krabappel for one) on the Simpsons.

That's too bad. I always enjoyed her on Bob Newhart and the old game shows. I didn't realize she was the voice of Bart's teacher.

I wish cable would show Bob Newhart reruns. That was a funny show. The patients were hilarious.

R.I.P.

Yeah, I used to love watching Newhart on Saturday nights in the '70s.

Good actress-Underappreciated, I think. She got in quite a few "Zingers" on ol' Bob over the years, & was a big part of what made that show a success. Kinda hard to think of anyone else who cold have done her character anywhere nearly as well as she did..

Wow. First Lou Reed, now Marcia Wallace. Bad things come in threes, hate to think who's next....

BTW, cool9, if you get Me TV on your cable system, they have Bob Newhart Show reruns.

ME TV is doing a tribute to her tonight during the Bob Newhart show.
