Mark Kohler's son Adam passed away

sorry to hear of that mark. Both my kids are younger teens. Cant imagine how that would feel. Best wishes to you and prayers. In jesus name.

Mark, I am so sorry. Prayers for everyone that knew Adam. I have a 29 year old son named Adam and this news rips my heart.

The saddest sadness is the loss of a child. Our thoughts go out to Mark and his family.

So many kind words from you all.

I haven't been online. Our internet was knocked out til Saturday, then we went through the nightmare of the funeral. It was very difficult. It was comforting to see the outpouring of love from all who attended, sent cards, emails or flowers.

We have had about twenty people, mostly young friends of Adam and my 28 year old son Jordan, staying with us until today. Sharing food, memories, tears.

Tomorrow the last few fly out. Then it will be the quiet reality of reflection, wondering why and how this could be so. I will be talking to a pastor soon. He has a strong faith and I think together we can start to make sense of this.

I am so, so sad. My son Adam was very special to me. And everyone he touched. You can visit his FB page, Adam F. Kohler. It is amazing.

Thanks fellow AK'ers. Thank you for your kind words, your thoughts and your prayers.

Sending a tender embrace Mark as I too lost a daughter at the young age of 27. She went in to the hospital for a checkup & due to complications with treatment, she went into a coma & never regained consciousness.

She left behind a fine son. My ex wife, son, & myself have raised him since he was a child, but he misses her terribly at times as we all do.

Be encouraged & be thankful for the time you had him in your life. His memories can never be erased.

Thank you Rome. I am starting to realize that a few of my friends and co-workers that have lost children. They tell me I am now in "the club".

I am thankful I have friends that are supporting me. Calling, coming over, texting. It helps immensely.
