For those who don't know Mark:

I had the pleasure of meeting him at AK fest a few years back and he spent a fair amount of time in our listening room hanging out. As has been stated, Mark is one of those rare breed of talented and knowledgeable audio tech cats who is enthusiastically willing to share and assist. Great guy all the way around and I very much enjoyed just shooting the bull with him.

I hope to hear your on the mend soon, Mark!

I was also wondering about Mark and hoping he had just taken some time for himself. He is a great asset to AK.

Get well soon Mark, you are in my family's prayers!

Hope you're feeling better by now Mark. I miss reading your sage advice. Mostly though, I just want to see you feeling better!

I just put a call into Mark's dad to try to get a room number and address for Mark. I didn't reach him directly but will let everyone know what I learn when I hear back from his dad.

Please share an adress to send a Card. He is so generous in giving His time to patientely solve others problems. He is a Role model for what a Board like this can be.
I would say untill He gets back we keep this topic on top.

Thanks for letting us know. Mark is really one of those one of a kind people who is very enthusiastic about his work and willing to help anyone with their problems. One of the most intelligent techs I ever met. I wish him on a speedy recovery.

Part of what makes AK so special and indeed contributes to it's success is Mark.

If anyone has any updates, please let us know. And if you have an opportunity to speak with Mark, please let him know that his extended family here on AK is wishing him well.

Amen to all of the above! :thmbsp:

I am really sad to hear the news that Mark is ill. I do hope that he is on the mend soon and will keep him in my thoughts and prayers.

Mark, not sure what's going on with your health, but hopefully this thread gets in front of you before too long. There is a BIG hollow spot on this forum without you here - we've all noticed it. As someone who has quietly admired your tireless altruism, patience and dedication in your dealings with fellow AK'ers over MANY years, I wanted to personally wish you a speedy and complete recovery.

So, please get well soon - not so much that you can resume helping the rest of us fix our stuff, but because the world really needs the good guys like you running at full capacity!! :thmbsp:

Forget our needs. Right now, Mark needs us.
I have read nothing but good things about him. Anyone know his health issues?
He is in our prayers.
Here is a big get-well wish to the 2011 AK-er of the year!
