Mat replacement for a Denon DP-1000/1100/1200 turntable

There are a few old discussions on Denon DP mats smelling really, really bad. SaturationPt mentioned ” This has a strong outgassing type of smell”. No amount of washing/cleaning is going to solve the problem.

I run into the same problem with my DP-1100. I have a personal attachment to this table and want to keep it.

Can anyone recommend a replacement mat for DP1000/1100/1200? It is specific to Denons and have unusual shape.

Do you know if Denon DP-31L mat will fit 1100? I see those on the Bay. Nothing for 1000/1100/1200.

For those with “stinky” Denon DP-1000, 1100, 1200 mats.

Thorens 5mm thick mat works just fine.

Another alternative is a cheap Pioneer style replacement mat, however, those are approx. 3mm thick and may not work for everyone.
