I'm new to this hobby and I've begun to acquire some decent components as of recently. My question is... are pairing my more modern speakers (Bowers & Wilkins DM602 S3's) and vintage receiver (Sansui 4000) worthwhile? I think this set up sounds fantastic. However, am I risking underpowering my speakers (suggested 25-120 watts, 8ohm, 90db sensitivity) or overworking my receiver (45wpc) with this set-up? All opinions or suggestions are welcome.
