Matrix to link audio equipements

Hi!
I am looking at some sort of matrix or switch box that give the ability to change the audio signal path through various Hi-Fi audio equipements without having the need to connect/ disconnect jumpers and other audio cables all the time.
In my case and as an exemple, I would like to connect at least 4 RCA audio sources (phono, tuner, tape and aux) the way I want to at least 2 pre-amplifiers (Marantz 1060, Sansui AU-555a for instance), and then connect those 2 pre-amplifiers the way I want to 3 amplifiers (Marants 1060, Sansui AU-555a and a Quad II Monoblock), and then connect those 3 amplifiers the way I want to 2 different pair of speakers.
I guess it will have to be a digital process with some sort of programmed preset of the different paths... Anyone knows about anything existing that could do the job? Or part of it? I have been looking on internet but I havent been lucky yet. Thank you!

Lots-0-Options if you do some searches. Switch boxes to be able to select amplifiers and speakers and plenty of spurce input selector boxes.
I have several amp/speaker selectors and input selectors. Some I put selectors even have a volume control if needed.
I just bought an amp/speaker selector that has relay switching and even VU meters for some eye candy. There are amp speaker selectors that can be used backwards, meaning you can have 1 or 2 amps connected and up to 4 or more speaker pairs. Or it can be used in reverse, 1 or two speakers pairs and up to 4 or more amps.
Here are a couple amp/speaker selectors I have and one of my input selectors.

Ya, an input, amp/speaker box I haven't seen yet. I'm not saying there isn't one, I just haven't seen any.

I did not know the model with VU meter! It looks pretty neat although I am looking for a more polyvalent "in one box" option... I am sure someone came up with some kind of remotly controlled preset programmable mega switch box. If not, I will get few basic switch boxes myself and build my own one! without remote or programmable preset as it is out of my league haha. Thanks for the input! Apreciated

This one with the meters just does speaker and amp switching, but it does have a remote. I'm sure there are input selectors with remotes also.
I gave one input selector to my son that while didn't have a remote, it did have a memory chip that held the last selected input when switched off.
I like the selectors that use relays to connect the source. You get zero Ross talk with them. You can find ipout board kits for input selectors with relays you can stuff into what ever box you want. They usually run off 6v to 12v using a wall wart. The one I have with meters runs off a 5v USB charger.
Just do some searches on ebay for input selector board kits and amp/speaker selectors. Lots will pop up, peibably even an input selector with remote.

I've seen them years ago when you could find a stereo shop on every corner. Sony made a nice one. Some one posted one of the Sony switch boxes here several years ago. A big face plate with rows of push buttons.
 
I remember the nightmare of hooking one up in my car audio store back in the early 90's, still have the bald spot from scratching my head so much !!

A car stereo shop would be a nightmare. Also having to change out speakers and stereos when new models came out.
 
Once it was all set up, swapping gear was pretty simple. We had removable panels with different sized cutouts for various radio and speaker sizes.

The issue was wiring 20 head units with 4 speaker outputs and RCA outputs, 6 EQ,s, 12 different amps, 24 pairs of speakers and 6 subs. Then there was the power supply and distribution and antenna signal distribution.

It was pretty neat, all airbrushed and lit up with neon, sadly my pics were lost in a basement flood. You could run any radio through any EQ, amp, speakers and sub you wanted, A/B comparisons were just a button tap.

I think you are probably talking about this model from Sony. It seems to actually be what Im looking for even though it is huge...
