May be unrelated. Please help my speaker!

Hello.

I am aware that this may be quite of topic to what this forum is designed for. I am hoping that it can be overlooked and that some kind, intelligent person could help me.

My partner recently bought a so called sonos sound bar, which he deeply loves.

This evening our daughter accidentally knocked over a glass of red wine on the speaker. The sound appears fine, but it need cleaning. The "cloth grill" (I am unsure if this is the correct term, I found it through googling), is covered in red wine and reeks of wine. The grill cloth is not removable.

My question is; how can we clean it? I understand this may appear to be a silly question to post here, but I would appriciate so much if I can save my partners beloved sound bar. Any tips, tricks and ideas are most welcome. If anyone has experienced spilled alcohol on speakers before, or just cleaned their speakers before, it would be very much appriciated. I have tried to find similar questions on here... but it seems as though few on this forum are silly enough to leave a child and a red wine glass (not together!) Next to their audio device.

Altar guilds will tell you that seltzer is the best bet for red wine. Don't know if club soda is better or worse. Sun light and lemon juice are standard grill cloth recommendations, but red wine may be too much for them.
Not to be absurd, but what does the stained cloth look like? Would dumping red wine over the whole thing result in an uniform and attractive result?
Last suggestion is that there probably are Sonos sound bars available to replace the damaged one. Probably someone out there would be happy to pick up a cosmetically challenged one, which might make buying one less painful.

If you are going in for the red wine innundation scenario, soak off the labels from the matching pair of bottles that you chose and paste them to the backs of your speakers.


You might then be able to give the grill cloth the enzyme treatment sold at pet stores. It eliminates organic odors.
