MC152

So I acquired a MC152. I already had a MA5300, which I’m now using as a pre-amp. My 5300 had the ability to trim my bass, treble, etc. The 152 does not. I played a record tonight that sounded dull, flat and too bass-y. I guess this is the sound I have to live with if I keep this amp?

I am getting a MEN220 in a couple of weeks.

Thoughts?

Hmmm ... all of the functionality of the 5300 should still work same as always when using it as just a preamp. The MC152 is a power amp only ...

I have a 152 and a mx113 tuner preamp and couldn't be happier with this set up so much this is the last amp I will buy .I would keep the 152 as I don't think that the problem
