Any thoughts would be welcomed using the MC2155 with a pair Klipsch Forte II’s
MC2155 or MC2205 amp?

Should be a wonderful combo. The Forte's are obviously very efficient and the 2155 is 150 watts(probably higher) so you'll have a lot of reserve headroom for just about any type of music. But should sound fine.
With highly sensitive speakers your noise floor becomes louder. The 2155/2255 is the first of a quieter amplifier generation from McIntosh.
Be sure that your preamp and sources are also quiet or you'll be hearing noise when no music is playing. Having 100dB+ sensitive speakers on my MC7300 showed me that my preamp needed to be upgraded, when the preamp was plugged into the amp with no source it had some white-noise that was just enough to hear when next to the speakers.

Berner's usually has production stats for most models but unfortunately not the MC7270
