MC2255 click at startup through speakers

Not fixated on an easy fix, unless one's available! Will be checking dc offset and will scope the signal.
However, I cannot evaluate the schematic, so it's helpful here if someone has the training, or had the same issue, to identify the most likely faulty component.

Caught the turn on spike with my scope. It's both channels, a negative going pulse about 150mv on the left channel and 50mv on the right.
It even happens with the speaker switch in the 'off' position. It is intermittent and not always when the amp is cold.
It happens right when the amp is first switched on, at the start of the countdown self test.
Even when there is no noise heard, there is a very short pulse (< 1uS,) both positive and negative going whenever the amp is turned on. It could also be just an artifact of my test setup.
