mc250 speaker connections

it seems that when the 250 was produced lamp cord wire was the norm. there isn't enough space on the connection panel to properly seat 1 connection, never mind trying to bi-wire. i also need to send a signal to a sub. does anyone have a recommendation or suggestion about connecting thicker gauge speaker wire to the mc250 output? i am using 2 units as monoblocks. thanks, ralph

I'm using spades on my McAmps and it's probably the best way to go. Part # BAR at welbornelabs. I'm pretty sure that 2 will squeeze under the screw. If not, get a longer screw but check that they don't short on the chassis as I'm not sure if the barrier strip is open to the inside of the chassis. Pic is MC-2002.
