MC275 V or and the what preamp

I am listening to the Gold Lion KT88 current, and wow, and is the first time I like a System better (not by much) than my C40 MC352 combo. So Now it stands Accuphase DP-500, Studer A810, 2 Nak Dragons, CR-7A, ZX9, and 2 Technics 1210M5G, to work with the C22 and MC75, how sweet.

hello Victor,
I had to go back to the dealer my c22 has a small buzz noise at 0 volume and i can hear it when i'm a 3 feet away and louder next to the ear, can you tell me if you hear the same with yours, a mean any type of noise or is it dead silent.

Are you talking about noise from the C22 itself or noise coming from your speakers with the C22 on?

If you are talking about noise from the C22 itself, I don't hear any noise from my C22 at all. The only noise I hear from my C22 is some minor noise from the tubes (metal expansion type noise) when I turn the C22 on or off.
 
Ok not from the unit itself, when the system on no music the volume the lowest, if you aproach the speaker put your ear close to the tweeter and mid, do you hear any buzzing noise.

Victor and I rulled out that are the amps making the noise. I hook up the amps with the c40 and no noise, then hook up the pre with the MC352 and I get the same noise as the C22 ans the MC75. So that tells me it is the C22. Please let me know if you hear the same or is dead silent.

The thing that interests me about the C2200 is that Corderman designed the tube circuit and if I so desire, I can use a decent SUT with a MC cartridge and still get that great circuit designed by the legend.

I only hear a soft hiss sound from about 2 feet away or less, mostly from the tweeter. More than a foot away from the speaker I can just barely hear it.

I usually think of buzz sound being caused by some kind of ground loop, tube preamps are much more sensitive to this than solid state. Try this: with just your C22 and amps and speakers hooked up does the sound change. I'm talking NOTHING plugged into any C22 input.
 
I have try all if it is just a hiss i would not worry but it is a buzzing sound. So my dealer contact Mcintosh and on Monday they will solve the problem and they might have replace the set for a new one, after all I only had it for a day and I don't want anything repair.
