MC7270 output taps

I am powering Vienna Acoustics Mahlers with dual MC7270s bridged for mono. According to Stereophile tests, these speakers dip below 3 ohms in the bass frequencies. I'm running off the 4 ohm taps, but the Mc manuals don't provide much info about bridged mode. Are these the correct taps for this load?

Hi,
What the impedance dips down to is not really the issue. Just use the taps that are appropriate for the 'Nominal' impedance listed for your speakers. If its not an even number then go to the next lower tap.In your case the impedance is 6 Ohms so the 4 Ohm tap is correct. Sounds like a nice rig.
