MCD/MDA with and without C46

Hi PHC1,

If its 2 channel U are listening to, the MDA1k is the best way to go - bar none! Unless U have other sources, like a TT, Tuner, etc, .... then, no choice, have a pre. But why when the MDA1k can peform all you ever would need? And in the long run cheaper too. Imagine, no cartridge/stylus to replace, no belts, no scratch vinyl, etc, ......

Anyway, you choose the road to your audio nirvana. I have and I never looked back. Welcome to the MDA1k Direct club!

Jesse, your findings pushed me to purchase the MDA1K for my system. Let's just say that I very much agree that using it by itself to drive the 501's is indeed the best way to extract the absolute best performance out of the CD's and 501's. Thanks again!
