McIntosh 275 value?

hey guys! just signed up and this is my first post! so I just bought a McIntosh 275 amp and am wondering what it's worth. in great shape. only blemish is some of the letters have rubbed off where it says right channel. any input would be appreciated! cheers!

Welcome to AK. Just a friendly FYI that questions pertaining to values should be posted in the Dollars & Sense section.

Checking sold listings on eBay will give a very good idea of market value. They usually bring anywhere from $4K to $6K depending on electronic and cosmetic condition.

I'm confused, you bought it yet you didn't/don't have an idea of what is was worth? how did you know what you paid for it was fair or exorbitant?

My guess OP paid a lot less than it’s TMV. It depends if it’s original version or later more modern version. Also tubes can hold tremendous value. A quad set of testing strong kt88 can be worth 1000.00 or better.
