mcintosh 4280 remote control

hello i was wondering if anyone had any ideas how to get a aftermarket remote control to work with a McIntosh 4280 receiver i have tried a Logitech 650 and it does nothing McIntosh no longer is making remotes for them and audio classics does not have any either any ideas would be appreciated
