Emailed the seller my telephone number and she called me back. Her son did the listing for her and she is leaving the sale of the equipment up to him!
I wonder how old he is? I am leaving in about 10 minutes as soon as I mapquest her address and gas up the truck.
 
Keep the money hidden in the car, and a friend with for security/assistance in carrying stuff. Be prepared for disappointment.
 
Let's see. He has 7 of them for sale which originally retail for $35,000 apiece. That's nearly a quarter of a million dollars of audio gear for $1,500. I just can't understand why some of you think this sounds fishy.:screwy: Is it that he's using 7 of them for a surround sound system? My guess is that he's gonna throw in 7 Klipschhorn's to go with it - and a powered subwoofer the size of a refrigerator. Oh, yeh and a 65" plasma TV.:thmbsp:

picture is not even the same amp as the MC2KW he mentions.

and for $1500, you know, these amps sell for $35.000.

If this is indeed the case you are about to become the most fortunate AK'er ever. I'm not holding my breath on the outcome however I am hoping for your sake this works out. Good luck......Most likely 100% of the Audiokarma active membership eagerly await the final outcome. Please do not keep us in suspense.

He says they're "mci.2kw"... obviously should have read MC1.2KW, and that's what's in the photo. So, sure... 7 of those ought to go for around $1500. MC2KWs would be about $1800, right?:D
 
Mac amps always have a scam going on every week where some low life is trying to rip someone off and I hope to god people don't fall for it..When I see a fraudulent mac or marantz listed,I bid it up to over 100 grand with a buddy so nobody gets stuck with it..You know dam well when they say we will sell you this MC2000 for 1500 buy it now and include shipping,you know its BS.
 
Well, I am almost too ashamed to admit this, but they want 150 k for all of that stuff.
I am so sick of people on Craigslist wasting my time and my gas for NOTHING !!!!! ^&*$%^*%&@$%&*@#$*^*
