Mcintosh mc-2105 fuse holder

A buddy of mine was selling his Mac system mc-2105, c-28 and a mr-77. I've been interested a long time but he just recently decided to let me have it . Problem is the fuse holder on the mc-2105 is missing . Anyone know a source . I tried the fuse holder from the c28 but it wouldn't fit. There are some on eBay but they don't have a specific model number some are longer some are short any help would be apreiated

A fuse holder usually means someone was fiddling with the fuse. I wonder why. I've never touch any of the fuse holders on any of the 10-15 units I've owned at one time. Do you know if the amp actually works before you buy it? A fuse holder is not the same as a cosmetic item.

It was gone when my friend bought it . I want to get a fuse cap so I can test it.. They are on eBay but not specific to a model just short and long . I have a email in to audio classics but no reply yet. I got a great deal because we could not test it . It's in beautiful shape so I'm ok with fixing it one way or the other.

Even if you have to swap the entire fuse holder ASSY, it's not a big job.

I had this problem and just opened it up and mounted an internal in line fuse holder. Haven't had to change a fuse in 30 years.

Bought a fuse holder from Mcintosh , now to install it and hope that the amp works. I'll probably send it to Terry but I'd like to play with it for awhile
