Mcintosh MC275 MK VI vs Conrad Johnson Premier 11A

Hello, I am currently have a Conrad Johnson Premier 11A amplifier, all original, it sounds really good and all. But I am thinking about buying a Mcintosh MC275 MK VI for under $4k (with all accessory). My biggest question is would the MC275 is a drastic improvement over the C-J 11A? Because there isn't a point for me to keep both amp using the same tube. I have a Mcintosh MC225 and it will be the last piece ever leave my cold dead hand, that why I am always interested in the MC275. I also have a vintage MC240 but it having problem that I don't have time to deal with right now.
PS: sorry if I post on the wrong forum!

Probably the best forum to post this is in the tube forum. The Mac forum will be a bit biased, I'm a Mac guy myself. But I haven't heard the CJ nor a MC275 so I couldn't give you an honest answer.

Since it is in D&S now if you are concerned about spending the 4K, don't be. If you don't like it as much as you hoped and want to sell it, the value will not decrease at all. Consider it a free rental with a security deposit ;)
