McIntosh MCD500 vs. SONY SCD-XA5400ES duel, anyone?

Anyone do this comparison yet? I am selling my 7009 specifically to get the Sony 5400 based on what I've read here. I just can't afford the new Macs as they are very expensive for my budget.

I have both the Sony 5400 and the Mac 7009. Imho, 5400 cd player section floors the Mac 7009 in every aspect. I haven't compared the 5400 to the Mac 500. The build quality of the Mac is head and shoulders above the Sony. I'm keeping the 7009 for sentimental reasons.
