I just recapped and refoamed a pair of these. They really need a lot of power, and especially one of the McIntosh environmental EQ's to dig down deep, but fed right, they'll go down to 20 Hz. The box is heavily overdamped, hence the need for the eq and power. They were very easy to work on; the crossover board unscrewed and lifted right out.

Hope someone can use these! I already have 5 sets of speakers sitting here. I was thinking since they were from McIntosh there is a good chance they are worth something to someone
