Brand new to forum and would like to know best place to get these Mc pieces repaired and tested. The last of my parents just passed away and I had to ship these from NY.
My father was VP of Sales for a company called Elpa Marketing out of NYC. He was the head exporter of Mc's, Bozak speakers(Was friends w Rudy), and Thorens TT(125 MKII). When he left Elpa in late 70's, actually worked for Bozak as its VP of marketing(the the sons ran it into the ground by 1983).
Anyway, shipped back his Bozak "Baby Grands" via fed Ex freight(not a scratch!), but the Mc's via Fed ex ground(Ya, I know, big mistake). I have insurance, but cannot find prices for MR 77 and C28 from stores around here and don't trust eBay.
I also need to get a new cover for the Thorens 125 MkII.
I also need the most reasonable, but good Mc Repair expert in Colorado. I have already reached out to a guy in FoCo(havent heard back yet) and Aural in Denver(3-4 mos out)
Any help is appreciated Thanx!
