McIntosh pre-amp

I have a question. What would be a reasonable deal on a McIntosh mx112 pre-amp? I am thinking of trying the long uphill battle of trying to find one that is in working condition. I am trying to figure out what to unload to get one. I want to build a console around it. I have my Concert Grands and love them, , but I want to copy one and want to use an MX112 in place of Magnavox amps and pre-amp. I want to use solid state power amp setup and an MX112 for the preamp. Any advice? thanks Mike.

You need to keep watch until you find the right one...After about two to three weeks looking for a McIntosh integrated amp I came across a MX-113 tuner/pre in perfect condition, just the front plastic bezel missing, glass 10/10, working condition 10/10, overall cosmetic condition 8/10 (because of the missing bezel). Price including shipping via USPS from California to Puerto Rico: $375.00

Not as scarey as I thought. I have an offer on my RC car collection to almost afford that pro rebuilt unit. This is promising. Thanks so much for the replies.
