I found a place in Houston that repairs vintage McIntosh equipment at a reasonable price!

Tom Tran owner of Save On Sound repaired my McIntosh MC2500 amplifier 11/1/2017.
Tom is a specialist in repairing McIntosh equipment [tube and solid state].
He spent over 16 hours bringing the mammoth amp back to life.
The sound is outstanding!
I planning another 30+ years use for this amp.

I've not been keeping up with Tom, but he was the go to place a few years ago. Did something happen?

He repaired an old Velodyne sub before I acquired it many years ago and I'm not aware of anyone that will touch them. This did give me some respect for the guy.

ole Roost been using Tom for years, he has my MC 7150 now, but yea he's done several big Pioneer receivers for me, he works on pretty much all audio. Tom also has an affliction with those huge expensive coo coo clocks, he works on those as well....Roost
