mcintosh, worth it?

looks nice...I dunno about this particular model but $385 seems pretty reasonable for a Mac stereo power amp in general:

Low number of transactions makes me nervous.

Price seems low too. I could be wrong.

He's been around a while - 19 transactions over the past year, no NFB. Looks like most of his prior sales have been hi fi too. He could just be someone who buys lots of stuff for his own system and is always swapping and buying new gear, trying to find audio nirvana. I'm not sure on the price, since I know nothing about Mcintoshes.

Either late 80's or early 90's, a decent amp IIRC. That was a knockout price too.

IIRC, it was only available for a couple years so recognition is low, i.e. not many searching for it. Again IIRC, it was pricey when new & lowish power in the era of Adcom. Low power McIntosh however is not a bad thing at all. I love my MC7100; I'd likely love that one too.
