These things are avail locally http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/wsh/ele/1484782272.html my question is not about value/$$. My question is: I have ADSL910's and these McIntosh XR7's look pretty attractive but are they better than my ADSL910's?

I really like how my ADS's image and their bottom end. I have plenty of power to drive pretty much anything but has anyone really heard these XR7's? Alot of drivers but how do they really stack up?

I just don't see much out there on these McIntosh, we all know about their reputation for amps but what about speakers?

My conclusion by the lack of any responses on this speaker is that either they were the best kept secret of their day or they just didn't sell many. Since they weren't that expensive compared to other decent speakers of their day -they must not be that impressive.
 
You might try posting in the Mac forum further down the page where all the Mac fans surely hang out.
