MCS is kind of a sleeper brand. my buddy has the top of the line 200+ wpc MCS and it sizzles, a really great sounding amp. that looks like a pretty clean unit from the pics. i'd be of no help with a valuation, only that the few i've heard are surprisingly good sounding amps.

Well I got this one for $5 today. They had no way to hook it up at the flee market. But I tried it because it was cheap. And I was happy to find out it works fine. And it sounds good. Just needs cleaned up now as it was really dusty etc. :)

yeah i just saw your other post. $5 is pretty good, about 10 cents per watt, not bad at all. definitely blow the dust out of it with compressed air. i use a small paintbrush to get the dust on the bottom. you can clean the switches with deoxit. nice score.

Well it helped make up for the jbl 4311b speakers I missed today. I had a deal for them with a guy on craigslist for $60. And in good working order. But he posted them late last night so I was going up to get them this morning. I called him and he had looked online and decided to keep them after reading about them. I would have loved to had them. But oh well:)
