Hey guys just picked up an MCS 3253 receiver today at the fleemarket. Got it for $5 as is. Go it home and it all seems to work great. Just the buttons for the base etc sound like they need cleaning or something. An ebay auction for one says "Technics built Modular Component Systems, from 1977 to 1980. Conservatively rated at 53 watts per channel." http://cgi.ebay.com/MCS-MODEL-NO-3253-STEREO-RECEIVER-CIRCA-1977-80-/280516439951

Any way I have a few questions etc...

Would it be a good idea to take the case off and blow out all the dust etc? It looks like it was sitting in a very dusty place for a long time.

What is the best way to clean the push button switches?

If any one has one what do you think of it? I have not had much time to play with this one but just made sure it worked.
