Noticed these on CL- Lyden WA. this morning... Reminded me... sort of like Technics Linear Phase speakers.... these are MCS 8330
Anyone know who made them for MCS? They are on for Fifty Bucks...

Those were made for MCS by Technics. They are similar to the Technics model SB-L300, but with a dome tweeter instead of a horn type. There are minor cosmetic differences, too, that I can see - and the Technics versions weighed 2lbs more each (for whatever that is worth).

Mt nephew has a pair of the 8320s (10" woofer instead of 12"), and for the $15 he snagged them for on craigslist, seems to really like them.

Might be worth a listen. I'd check carefully for foam rot around the woofers.

I just got these for $30 and they sound absolutely amazing to me after some basic cleaning. No cap replacements or anything yet.

I had a pair of MCS speakers years ago. They had 12" woofers with soft dome midrange drivers and tweeters. They sounded pretty good.
