Hi Guys !
I just bought a MDA 1000 (Audioclassics of course....) . Waiting for it.
I plan to use the inboard preamp of the MDA to listen to cd's, connecting the MDA to the 275 with XLR.
I wish to keep my 220 preamp, and use it for phono and radio, and connect the preamp to the unbalanced input of the 275.
I will have to switch the "balanced / unbalanced" control on the 275, depending on the source selected.
A dealer told me that I should not have both cinch and XLR plugged on the 275. According to him, this could generate a hum.
What do you think ?

PS: I never thought I would buy a MDA 1000. But I was upset I bought a 201 3 months before I learned the 301 coming out ! so I sold my 201 and instead of buying a 301, I decided to go straight to the MDA.... !
