Looks like you're missing the protection diode next to the relay. Needs to be in there to keep from smoking the relay driver transistor.

Went and looked at the board again. You have sharp eyes! Guess it won't be powering back up again until that is replaced. Any thoughts about the FM problems described in the other thread I started about this unit?

I have encountered a few 2325 (and others) with factory installed 8v-300ma lamps. I have also seen 2325's with melted lamp housings using 8v 200ma lamps.
I believe the problem has more to do with the composition of the plastic and the environment of the receiver than the current of the lamps.

He says it's soldered on underneath the board. His is the same way apparently....

In my research for the 2325, the melted lamp surrounds was a real problem, and I am told they fixed it with better materials in the last of this series. As to LED's to replace the 'fuse lamps', why not? Is anyone going inside to take a look? The 2325 has some electronic issues too I have been told. I have wanted one for a time to help complete my collection, but now I am skeptical. Any and all comments and the whereabouts of an affordable one would be greatly appreciated. Good luck on what you decide.

If I knew where there was an affordable one, I'd get it!
But really, try the usual channels, ebay, craigslist, yard sales and such. Sooner or later, one will turn up.
