Another of our GREAT Ak members who had the passion and selflessly gave to the folks who needed help on their gear. He helped me a few times, even sent me two transistors free so I would have a matching set for my Marantz 2230. RIP Tom.

Unfortunately, the rumors are true. Catrafter was my grandfather, and he passed away from complications related to cancer last year. He was a tough old man, but after losing my grandmother, I think a part of him was gone too. He passed away just a few weeks after she did.

Please feel free to message me if there's any information you need to add him to the memorial wall. I'd be happy to help in any way I can.

Thank you for hosting the memorial. It means a great deal to me, and I'm sure it means just as much to the other families who have lost their loved ones. Knowing he'll be remembered by a community he cared so much about is a real comfort to me and my family.

Very early in my journey Tom was so kind and allowed me to call him for a few pointers, I will never forget his help not only to me be so many with his contributions here. Your grandfather was such a good man to many.
